At Aria Fertility Clinic, we understand that fertility treatment is a huge emotional commitment and our caring and empathetic staff work hard to ensure you feel supported every step of the way. We offer patients the opportunity to access counselling support from the very beginning of their journey.

Counselling

Support is available for all patients and donors attending the Aria Fertility Clinic before, during and following treatment.

Call us on +44 (0) 203 263 6025 or email us at admin@ariafertility.co.uk to discuss our counselling service in more detail.

To access more counselling options, the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) is a registered charity and is recognised by the HFEA and British Fertility Society.

We work closely with Senior Fertility Counsellor Tracey Sainsbury who provides counselling for individuals and couples around all fertility issues.

“My therapeutic approach acknowledges how our conscious and unconscious belief systems are transformed when we are contemplating conception. I believe we experience a paradigm shift when we are ready to parent and this in itself can promote us being too hard on ourselves, especially around stress.”

Tracey ensures you have the strategies and resources to create your own toolkit to promote self care, helping to manage stress so it doesn’t become a problem.

Tracey offers a reduced fee for counselling appointments for people exploring or progressing treatment with Aria. The cost is £80 per appointment, appointments are always provided online via Zoom or Teams and last around 50-60 minutes.

Please contact Tracey at ivfcounsellor@gmail.com to discuss your requirements and make an appointment.

As part of the counselling service we offer, we also work closely with Caroline McLean Counsellor MBACP (Accred), AMBICA.

She provides counselling for individuals and couples before, during and after their fertility treatment. Caroline works in an integrative approach and her work is centred on the needs of the client.

Caroline has been a counsellor for 25 years, and for 15 of those years she has worked specifically in the area of fertility, either directly with fertility clinics or in her private practice.

Counselling fees for Aria patients are £80 per session. Each session will be 50 minutes in duration. Caroline can provide online sessions over zoom, Teams or Skype or by telephone.

Please contact Caroline at caroline@mcleancounselling.co.uk to discuss your requirements and make an appointment.
